  • I upgraded to the Pro plan, but my account still shows I am on the Free plan. What should I do?

If you're encountering this issue, it might be due to your current role, which needs to be updated from Viewer to Editor. To resolve this:

    1. Log into ProtoPie Cloud.
    2. Choose your team space from the dropdown menu.
    3. Click on Team settings.
    4. Under Roles, update your member role from Viewer to Editor.

This should ensure that your subscription plan is accurately reflected in ProtoPie Studio. If the issue persists, contact our support team for further assistance.

  • Can I be subscribed to the Individual plan and Pro plan at the same time?

Absolutely! If you are subscribed to an Individual plan and you start/join a team as an editor, both plans would be ongoing at the same time.

  • Can I convert an Individual plan into a Pro plan?

It is unfortunately not possible to convert an ongoing Individual plan into a Pro plan.

If you are subscribed to an Individual plan but want to move to a Pro plan, you can either cancel your individual plan and wait until the end of the current billing cycle before subscribing to the Pro plan or subscribe to the Pro plan and temporarily keep both the Individual and Pro plan.

  • Can I adjust the number of editor seats in my plan?

Yes, if you're a team owner, you can easily add or remove editor seats by accessing the billing section of the Pro plan. Just click on "Manage Editor Seats" to increase or decrease the number of editor seats according to your needs. If you require any assistance, please don't hesitate to contact us.

  • Do I have to pay for team members who won't be prototyping?

No, you don't have to. With ProtoPie, you'll only be charged for the number of editor seats you require. As a team owner or admin, you can invite as many viewers as you want without any additional charges.

Viewers can access and view prototypes, as well as leave comments, but they won't have access to creating, editing, or uploading prototypes using ProtoPie Studio.

  • What happens if I cancel my Pro plan?

If you choose to cancel your active Pro plan, you'll remain subscribed until the end of the current billing cycle. After that, editors in your team won't be able to create, edit, or upload new prototypes to your team space using ProtoPie.

However, all members will still have access to their prototypes as viewers within the team space.

  • What are the differences between viewers and editors?

With ProtoPie, team owners and admins can invite new members to the Pro plan as either editors or viewers.

Viewers can access projects, view prototypes, and provide comments. On the other hand, editors have the same capabilities as viewers, plus they can create and upload prototypes, utilize team libraries, and make use of ProtoPie Connect.

To learn more about the specific features and permissions of editors and viewers, you can visit our documentation on editors and viewers.

  • Can I create multiple teams using a single Pro plan?

No, a single Pro plan does not allow you to create multiple teams. Each team will need to have its own Pro plan.

However, with ProtoPie Enterprise, you have the option to create multiple teams. You can explore more about ProtoPie Enterprise and its features here.

  • Can viewers also leave comments on prototypes?

Absolutely! Members joining a Pro plan as viewers can indeed leave comments on prototypes. This allows for effective collaboration and feedback within the team.

  • Is there a limit to the number of prototypes I can create and upload with the Pro plan?
