On February 9, 2026, we’re excited to announce a significant structural update to the ProtoPie Basic Plan. We are introducing a Team Space environment for every Basic subscriber—at no additional cost.
What’s New: The Breakdown
This shift introduces a hybrid workspace structure that allows you to manage your professional and personal work in parallel.
- A Professional Hub: Your account now includes a dedicated 500MB Team Space in addition to your existing 500MB Personal Space.
- AI Readiness: Moving your "Pies" to the Team Space ensures you are ready to utilize upcoming AI assisted-interaction features as soon as they arrive.
- Scalable Infrastructure: This update provides the organizational tools needed to manage professional project delivery more effectively.
Navigating Your New Workspaces
Starting February 9, 2026, you will see two distinct areas in your ProtoPie Cloud side menu:
- Personal Space: Your private sandbox. The perfect place for learning new techniques and keeping early-stage drafts.
- Team Space (NEW - 500MB): Your Professional Hub. This is where your production-ready work should live. It is the only space that will support upcoming AI features and future collaborative expansions.
Getting Started: Moving Toward Professional Prototyping
Once your Team Space is provisioned on Feb 9, 2026, you can easily move your Pie files and Libraries from your personal space according to the following steps.
To prepare your projects for AI and professional delivery:
- Log in to your Cloud dashboard.
- Check your Team Space and create a project in the space if you don’t have any.
- Open your Personal Space and go to Pies (or Libraries) menu.
- Select the Pie files (or libraries) up to 20 items at once.
- Click Move, and select your new Team Space.
- Select a project (in case of moving Pies), and click Move button.
Note: Your original prototype share links will remain exactly the same after moving.

The Team Space for Basic Plan users will be released on Feb 9, 2026. You will be able to check the Team Space after the release date.
Why should I use the Team Space instead of my Personal Space?
The Team Space is your "Professional Workspace." It is designed for professional-grade project management and is the only environment that will enable our upcoming AI features.
Does this change the cost of my plan?
No. This is a foundational upgrade to the Basic Plan to ensure all our users are ready for the future of AI-driven prototyping.
I’m a solo freelancer—do I really need a "Team" space?
Yes. The Team Space provides the necessary infrastructure for professional workflows. Even as a solo user, it allows you to separate project deliveries from drafts and ensures you have access to the latest AI innovations.
