As ProtoPie continues to evolve, we want every new customer to experience its full potential from day one with a complete plan like Pro. That’s why, starting in early 2027, the Basic Plan will no longer be available for purchase.
Why we’re making this change
The Basic Plan was created as an entry point to ProtoPie, but as AI and the tech industry continue to advance, so do the possibilities of prototyping and testing. We believe that truly effective prototyping requires a complete ecosystem of tools and capabilities, which the Pro Plan can bring together, from MCP integrations to high-fidelity user testing.
The Pro plan offers the complete toolset and fully integrated ecosystem that allows users to experience the full potential of ProtoPie and create the hyper-realistic prototypes we envision, making it the ideal starting point for anyone looking to create with ProtoPie.
You can still explore ProtoPie with the Free Plan, and upgrade to Pro whenever you’re ready.
What this means for you
If you’re new to ProtoPie
In early 2027, Users won’t be able to subscribe to the Basic Plan anymore. You can start with the Free Plan or choose Pro to get access to the full set of features.
If you currently have an active Basic Plan

With Pro, you get access to the full ProtoPie experience, including:
ProtoPie AI with 1,000 AI credits every month to speed up how you build prototypes
MCP integrations to connect ProtoPie with your AI tools and workflows
ProtoPie Connect to bring prototypes to life across multiple devices, hardware, and external inputs (Add-on purchased separately)
User Testing to validate your prototypes with real users (Add-on available separately for users with an annual plan)

Can I still buy the Basic Plan?
For now, you can still subscribe to the Basic Plan, but starting from early 2027, the Basic Plan will no longer be available for new purchases. We highly encourage new users to subscribe to the Pro plan to avoid any interruptions when the Basic Plan is terminated, and experience the full capability of ProtoPie.
I have an active Basic Plan. Do I need to do anything right now?
We’ll contact you by email with details before any changes to your subscription. We will give a grace period and clear instructions on what should be done from your side.
Will anything happen to my files?
No. Your files and projects are not affected by this announcement. If you are using the Basic Plan, you will be contacted by email soon.
Can I upgrade from Basic to Pro now?
If you have an active Basic Plan, you can upgrade to Pro at any time on your Billing space. However, we encourage users to wait to be notified by our team to make sure you receive the proper instructions.
